about

“Hey, good morning…” This dangerously innocent, yet cheeky track brings a mix of Lex Allen’s love for timeless Soul-Pop melodies of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, with added influence from new wave sounds of today. Allen’s flirtatious writings were brought to life by producer, and fellow New Age Narcissism member, Q The Sun, building a track from the bottom up with velvety keys, shining strings, and a bass line that initiates the sway. Experimental artist, Webster X (New Age Narcissism), gives you a taste of what’s in his cup, with an unexpected influx to the dark side, while lyrically riding the spacey movements of Q’s ambient keys.

Daniel Holter of Wire & Vice, and Justin Perkins of Mystery Room, were the final pours for Cream & Sugar. Dan’s years of engineering expertise really brought out the tasty sounds that mattered, giving an extremely professional, yet comfortable approach to the recording session with his knowledge. The balance Justin adds with his non-discriminating mastering technique brings a new energy to the production, carrying any listener to a dream world from the very first listen.

Let your mind flow through the light, and through the dark.

Cream and Sugar
Written by: Lex Allen, WebsterX, and Q The Sun

Intro:
Hey, good morning...

Verse:
Sugar honey ice tea, you are everything that's sweet
Dip you in my coffee, you're the best kind of morning treat

The sun is rising, I am rising
Everything about this, my hearts desires
My mind is stirring, my heart is racing
Can't put you down, what am I drinking?

Chorus:
My cream and sugar all in one, your all mine
My cream and sugar, my cream and sugar
(Hey Hey)
My cream and sugar all in one, your all mine
My cream and sugar, my cream and sugar

Verse 2:
H. E. double hockey sticks, what time is it I need my fix.
Roasted toasted feel the steam, we mesh like the French kiss me

Your body so tight, so amazing
Sun kissing your waves, got me sailing
Morning to night, you have me swaying
Never putting you down ( No no no )

Chorus:
My cream and sugar all in one, your all mine
My cream and sugar, my cream and sugar
(Hey Hey)
My cream and sugar all in one, your all mine
My cream and sugar, my cream and sugar
(Dah Dah Dah Dah Dah)
My cream and sugar all in one, your all mine
My cream and sugar, my cream and sugar
(Hey Hey)
My cream and sugar all in one, your all mine
My cream and sugar, my cream and sugar

Bridge:
Let me talk to you for a second...
Cream, sugah, honey (Gone fill up my cup, gon fill up my cup)
Yah my cream, sugah, honey (So sweet, so sweet, so sweet, so sweet)

Yah my cream, yah my cream, yah my cream
Yah my sugar, yah my sugar, yah my sugar
Yah my honey, honey. (x3)

Verse 3:
Cream... sugar... honey...
You're more than your skin tone, yah more than yah flesh
(You dah best x3)
